It is expected that most of the reading and annotating will be done on a tablet device, such as iOS. The macOS version will be focused around searching based on different criteria and Copying As Citation from a PDF into an authoring package.

 

The Open Dialogue is a primary part of the application. Here the user can specify name, author(s) and date (specific or range) over the relevant columns and keywords for document Annotations or Notes as well as Body Text and Highlighted Body Text:

The macOS application will feature full reading and annotation support though it is expected that most reading will take place on iOS:

The process of assigning citation information to the users PDF documents based on extraction and/or search will need to be investigated. An iOS method is proposed below.
